January 2020, my name is Paolo Girardi, research fellow in Psychometrics (M-PSI/03) at the Department of Developmental and Social Psychology at the University of Padua (https://www.dpss.unipd.it ).
My research interests include applied statistics in Psychology and Medicine science, in particular the analysis of functional data, classification techniques and methods for epidemiology.
I am part of the interdisciplinary group Psicostat aimed at the development of quantitative methods in disciplines concerning psychology and statistics in general.
I collaborate with the Regional Epidemiological Service for the analysis of health data and research projects.
In my free time I practice sports (gym, running, flag-waving!), visit places and partecipate to events. I am a member of the Board of the Italian Federation of Flag Wavers (www.fisb.net ).
